Life Online Collective - About Us
BUILD THE CAPABILITY FOR WHAT COMES NEXT
Hi,
I’m Kerryn Kohl, Founder and Director of Life Online. We are living through a time of profound disruption. AI and rapid acceleration are reshaping work, leadership, capability, and identity at a pace organisations and individuals struggle to absorb. The challenge isn't just technological. It is deeply human.
Life Online - What we do & Why we do it
A space for true human empowerment in an age of acceleration.

A Space for True Empowerment
The Vision
A place to pause, reflect, reset, reclaim, and rebuild. Honouring human wholeness while offering context-specific tools to lead and live with intention.
We Are Not Here to 'Help'
The Philosophy
We exist to equip and empower because people are capable of helping themselves. We provide the right conditions, questions, and perspectives so something shifts.
No (hu)Man Left Behind
The Mission
AI and acceleration are reshaping work and identity. We equip individuals and organisations to build capability, beat FOBO, and thrive in an AI-driven world.
Two Paths, One Whole
The Pathways
Bridging human potential and intelligence through two integrated pathways one for Organsations and the other for Individuals.
Why we exist
We aren’t here to 'help'—we are here to equip and empower. Most often, what people and leaders need isn't more software; it’s the right conditions to pause, reflect, reset, reclaim, and rebuild.
What began as a vision for a physical sanctuary has evolved into a digital collective built for the speed of modern life. It is a space to step out of the quiet panic of obsolescence (FOBO), reconnect with your strengths, and gain the practical tools needed to lead and live with intention.
At the heart of Life Online is a simple belief: people are whole.
We do not live in neat categories. We are not one person at work and another person at home. We lead in boardrooms and in kitchens. We carry our beliefs, values, histories, aspirations, and struggles into every role we hold.
While we recognise the wholeness of each person, we equally understand that the contexts in which they live and lead call for different tools, insights, and forms of support.
That is why Life Online offers two pathways:
For Leaders and Organisations — focused on capability, culture, leadership, and the human side of AI transformation.
For Individuals — focused on intentional living, meaning, wellbeing, and the practices that help people live well, lead well, and be well.
What we do & Why we do it
Why Life Online offers two pathways
These are not separate worlds. They are different expressions of one integrated philosophy: that human flourishing, leadership, learning, and wellbeing are deeply connected.
No (hu)uman left behind
What sets us apart
Most consultants talk about the future. At Life Online, we design it by architecting the capabilities that enable it.
Moving beyond rigid, outdated models, we design dynamic, research-backed competency frameworks and learning ecosystems that forecast performance, align with future skills, and turn transformation ambition into measurable execution.
Bridging the gap between software investment and human adoption. We embed data-driven insights and AI workflows directly into how your workforce learns, adapts, and performs, eliminating tool sprawl and securing genuine ROI.
Grounded in behavioural science, psychology, and the realities of Industry 5.0, we cultivate leaders who can navigate ambiguity, foster trust, and protect human judgment while collaborating seamlessly with intelligent systems.
Capability Architecture
Artificial intelligence in talent systems
Human-centred leadership philosophy
Our expertise intersects three rare domains:
What we do & Why we do it
The question at the centre of our work
What must we become capable of now?
What we do & Why we do it
Our Work Began with People...
Since 2016, we have been building and deploying intelligent platforms, back when machine learning was still largely hand-coded, and AI was a concept many organisations were only beginning to take seriously. We have watched the technology evolve in real time, and as the systems became more capable, so did our understanding of what truly matters.
What we discovered was not a contest between human and artificial intelligence, but the possibility of collaboration two forms of capability working together in ways that can be more powerful than either alone. We call that C’ynergy.
Life Online was built to help make sense of this new world, to share what we have learned through lived experience, and to support individuals and organisations in strengthening the human capabilities that cannot be automated, while learning to work wisely with the technologies that can.
We do not claim to have all the answers — no one does. But we do bring:
Leadership depthExperience building human capability and leading through uncertainty.

Grounded in psychology, neuroscience, organisational behaviour, and technology, she is driven by understanding the mechanics behind how humans adapt, learn, and perform in a rapidly changing world? Her aim is to answer a single question right now:
I design the capabilities, learning systems and experiences that help people and organisations adapt, grow and perform in a rapidly changing world — at the intersection of human behaviour, learning and technology.
I explore the ideas, questions and practical shifts that help people make sense of change, expand their capability and navigate what comes next with greater clarity and agency.
I spark conversations that challenge assumptions, shift perspectives and help people think differently about leadership, change and what it means to remain human in the age of AI.

The Peacock, Teal & the Triskelion
They are not the safest choices for a serious brand, but they are absolutely deliberate. At first glance, the Peacock, Teal and the Triskelion may not seem like obvious companions, but look a little more deeply and they begin to reveal the same story. All three are rooted in something ancient. They are grounded in nature, depicting cycles and movement, conveying the idea that life is not static, but continually unfolding. They carry a wisdom that predates our modern language for transformation, resilience, psychology or personal growth.
A wisdom humans have always known instinctively:
That life moves in cycles, that growth requires change, that endings create space for beginnings, and that we are shaped both by what happens within us and by the world around us.

the Triskelion
At the heart of the Life Online logo is the Triskelion, an ancient Celtic symbol associated with motion, cycles and continuous movement.
Its three spirals suggest that life is never static. We are always learning, adapting, evolving and moving through different seasons of change.
Its form evokes continuous movement, progress and the enduring significance of three. Across cultures and traditions, we repeatedly make meaning through triplicity: mind, body and spirit; land, sea and sky; past, present and future; birth, life and death. The Triskelion reminds us that nothing remains still. Life is a progression through seasons. A move through beginnings and endings, loss and gain, certainty and doubt. Like the ebb and flow of the ocean, we circle back to familiar places, but we are not the same person. A symbol of continuous evolution, a cycle of birth, life and death or rather rebirth. A cycle that the peacock has been associated with since ancient times across many cultures.

The Peacock
For thousands and across many cultures, the peacock has been associated with renewal, vision, beauty, immortality and transformation. There is something deeply human in its cycle of shedding and renewal. We connect deeply with the process of transformation it embodies as it sheds every year to make way for its new magnificent plumage - it helps us to understand that it is only through letting go of the old that we can make way for the new. Letting go of an identity that no longer fits, a belief we have outgrown, a role we have completed, a version of success that no longer feels like our own, or a way of living or working that belonged to another season of our lives.
There is vulnerability in that space between what has fallen away and what has not yet fully emerged.
But there is also possibility. The peacock reminds us that shedding is not necessarily loss. It can be part of renewal. A necessary part of becoming. It teaches us to have grace and compassion through this time of transformation, to not judge ourselves too harshly for the ugliness of the shed, for what was once beautiful and complete will be again.
Then there are the extraordinary eyes within its feathers, introducing another thread running through the Life Online story: the act of seeing.
Seeing beyond appearances, seeing what is changing, seeing ourselves more clearly, seeing possibilities that were previously hidden from view.
It is in the eye that our connection to teal is revealed.
It is in the eye that our connection to teal is revealed.
Teal
The colour itself takes its name from the Eurasian teal — a small duck distinguished by the striking teal colouring around its eye. Again, nature, the eye, a colour between worlds.
Teal sits between the depth and calm of blue and the vitality and growth of green. It represents stillness and movement, reflection and expansion, groundedness and growth. It is the space between the duality, the potential that exists between them, that matters because change is rarely about abandoning one thing entirely for another. More often, it asks us to hold two truths at once.
To remain grounded while moving forward, to honour who we have been while allowing ourselves to become someone new, to reflect deeply without becoming stuck, to embrace technology without surrendering our humanity, to find stability without resisting movement.
Full circle
Central to the peacock feather is the 'eye', the teal-coloured band in the eye of a duck from which it takes its name, the eye naturally drawn towards the centre of the Triskelion before following its spirals outward. This 'eye' is a powerful metaphor for awareness.
It looks inward — towards self-knowledge, intuition, values, meaning and the stories through which we understand ourselves. It looks outward — towards other people, the world around us, new possibilities and the changing environment we are constantly trying to make sense of.
We need both because without looking inward, we can lose ourselves in the noise and expectations of the world around us, and without looking outward, we can become disconnected from the world that is changing around us.
Perhaps that is why these three elements felt connected, felt right long before I fully understood why.
They were chosen separately, yet they carry remarkably similar truths.
Connection. Cycles. Flow. Growth. Expansion. Awareness. Renewal.
Ancient ideas that continue to surface in our modern lives because the fundamental experience of being human has not changed nearly as much as the world around us has.
Technology will continue to evolve, the world will continue to change, and we will continue to be asked to change with it, but ancient wisdom will endure.
The wisdom that helps us navigate change is timeless: Observation. Intention. Evolution. To notice what is happening within us and around us. To choose how we respond rather than simply being carried by the current, and to accept that becoming is not a destination, but a continuous part of being alive. This is the deeper meaning behind the Life Online brand.
